We prepare the horses for our sales consignments exclusively on our own stud farm SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN, allowing us to provide individual attention and a tailored approach to each horse entrusted to us. Our highly experienced team ensures that every thoroughbred receives the optimal preparation needed to excel in the sales ring.

A Holistic & Tailored Approach

Gradual & Structured Build-Up: Ideally, we begin preparation 8–12 weeks before the sale, allowing for a steady and progressive development.
Close-to-Nature Management: Horses spend as much time outside as possible. Colts are kept in individual paddocks, while fillies remain in small groups, promoting both well-being and natural development.
Comprehensive Training:
- Hand-walking, work in the horse walker, and longing to build muscle and condition.
- Show practice to ensure confident and polished presentation in the sales ring.
- Individualized daily care, adapted to each horse’s specific needs and temperament.

Beyond physical preparation, we provide expert consultation on selecting the most suitable sales auction, aligning each horse’s potential with the best possible market, ensuring optimal sales results.
